The Queen of Death and the Descent of Inanna
Release what is finished. Return & reclaim your throne.
As Samhain approaches and the veil between worlds grows thin, we enter the mystery of the Queen of Death.
In the ancient Sumerian story, Inanna descends through seven gates into the underworld, where she encounters Ereshkigal, Queen of the Great Below. At each gate, she must relinquish something she has carried.
We will enter our own sacred descent, meeting the identities, attachments, old protections and ways of being that are ready to be laid to rest.
What have you outgrown? What are you still carrying that no longer belongs to the woman you are becoming?
Through ritual surrender and a guided return, we will honor what has ended and make space for what is ready to emerge and be reclaimed..
You will be invited to return to your throne, the place of your own sacred authority, carrying the wisdom of all three nights.
This is the heart of the journey, where the gifts of the Rose and the River are carried into the underworld and gathered in ceremony.
ONE JOURNEY, THREE SACRED GATES
Each ceremony opens the way for the next.
Together we will create a personal altar that grows through the three nights. On the first night, you will bring an object representing your desire. On the second, an object representing your inner knowing. On the third, we will bring these sacred witnesses into the descent and choose what we are ready to release.
You will receive a simple journey map to accompany your initiation, with space to record what you desire, what you remember, what you release and what you choose as you return.
I encourage you to attend all three nights live, allowing the practices and revelations to deepen from one evening to the next.
All three ceremonies will be recorded, with replays available through November 1.

The Goddess of Love, the Priestess and the Queen of Death are three of the thirteen archetypal temples of the Divine Feminine. For eight years I have guided women through all thirteen in the Priestess Initiate Circle, a year of living initiation that begins again on November 14.

For more than 25 years, I have walked the initiatory path of the 13 Moon Mystery School, devoted to the living mysteries of the Sacred Feminine.
For nearly two decades, I have served as a Temple Keeper of the Queen of Death, accompanying women through the mysteries of endings, surrender, transformation and rebirth.
My work is rooted in the understanding that the Goddess archetypes are living teachings, revealing themselves through our relationships, our bodies, our choices and the ways we meet the great initiations of life.
Through leading the Priestess Initiate Circle for the last 8 years and my work with women in ritual and sacred leadership, I have witnessed what becomes possible when women enter these mysteries with devotion, courage and the willingness to live what they discover.
It would be my honor to guide you through these three nights.
